How we achieved it

Elion is currently undertaking a major internal digital transformation project, in which different vectors such as business management, document management, access to information, people, organisational culture and business management in general are undergoing a process of reimplementation and globalisation in order to propel the company into the future.

Under the umbrella of the Conecta project, where these vectors converge, the need to find technologies that would allow Elion's people to access the organisation's information and processes began to take shape, with the aim of improving their knowledge, productivity and collaboration.

In this regard, Elion decided to partner with Enterprise Quality Management, which, through its Productivity and Platform area, had already helped other organisations meet this important challenge, using a defined and structured work methodology. This was achieved through migrations to Microsoft 365, the implementation of SharePoint Online, Teams, Viva Engagement, and other Microsoft solutions.

Project objectives

Based on the Conecta project perspective, discussions began to assess needs, clearly identifying the importance of avoiding information silos, facilitating general access to information, and protecting the privacy of sensitive information in each department.

After an initial pilot project, the necessary technical configurations and parameterisations were made on the productivity solutions (Modern Work / Microsoft 365) of:

  • Microsoft SharePoint Online
  • Microsoft Viva Engage (Previously Yammer)
  • Microsoft Teams
  • Microsoft Power Automate

Similarly, under the concept of "unified information" designed and implemented by EQM, users in departments with access to Teams can easily access documentation on their SharePoint site, even from any other productivity solution connected to these environments.

Along with the implementation of the model and the various workshops, Elion is on the path to productivity in an effective and advanced way, positioning it ahead of its competition.

Elion is moving steadily towards the future, drawing on EQM’s capabilities and experience in a global and participatory environment.
